These are the terms and conditions for booking lessons, clinics and classes using our online booking facility via our website and app and in-store via phone, email, in person or text/SMS.
Payment
To book with us you online will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Your card details will be held by our payment service provider and full payment will be taken at the time of purchase. All online rates exclude vouchers. Lessons, clinics and classes booked over the phone, by email or in-person must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Please refer to our cancellation policies below for more details
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased from the Golf Ireland Academy are valid for five years from date of purchase. It is possible (and indeed recommended) to redeem the packages on a phased basis. All bookings must be made by emailing bookings@bettergolf.ie or by calling 01 5054040. Lesson vouchers are redeemable with staff professionals, subject to availability. Custom Fitting vouchers are available with Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Mizuno, Srixon, Cleveland, Cobra, Scotty Cameron and Odyssey products.
Cancellation Policy – Special Events
Special events such as one-off workshops, visiting tutors etc. – no cancellation or refunds are permitted once booked. Tickets/places are fully transferable at face value but are not permitted to be resold online or offline.
Cancellation Policy – Clinics & Custom Fitting
If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the start time of your clinic or fit, a refund will be arranged or the payment transferred to another booking of your choice.
If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours in advance or fail to turn up, no refunds will be made and the payment cannot be transferred.
Cancellation Policy – Lessons (one on one)
If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the start time of your lesson, a refund will be arranged or the payment transferred to another booking of your choice.

Academy Closed
If we are unable to carry out our normal business due to the Academy being closed (e.g. bad weather), a charge will be made to your credit/debit card but is refundable or transferable on request.
Booking Transferable
Your Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your booking, you can offer it to someone else such as a family member or friend.
Dress Code
We simply ask that you dress for golf. Whatever makes you comfortable, and is in keeping with the game.
Spikes
Please note that metal spikes are not permitted at the Academy.
