Often customers look for clarification about the ins and outs of our Full Day Clinics. Hopefully this article shines a light on what our Full Day Clinics entail and how you, or the golfer in your life, can get involved.
What to expect: to start, the PGA Professional will meet the players at the reception desk of the Golf Ireland Academy. After a brief introduction, the clinic will start with long game in the range bays. The coach will use Trackman 4 to help the golfers grow their golf knowledge. As well as this, the coach will apply different coaching techniques to help the players build a more robust golf swing. Soup and sandwiches are provided after the morning session. After lunch, the clinic will head down to the short game area to look at different greenside shots and putting.
What type of golfer are these for: this particular clinic is best suited to golfers who have been playing for a while and currently have a handicap. Sometimes this clinic can be a little overwhelming for beginner golfers. We find that mid-to-high handicappers find this clinic insightful and enjoyable.
What’s included: once the clinic starts, range balls, use of trackman 4 and a light lunch are all included.
When are the clinics scheduled: once the weather picks up, the full day clinics make their appearance. Normally the clinics are scheduled from the end of March up until the end of October each year.
How long is the clinic: the clinic kicks off at 10am and finishes up at 4pm, with a short break for lunch half way through.
Why sign up: this clinic will help players highlight the current tendencies in their swing, understand more about the ball flight, and learn / revise the fundamentals of great short game shots. It’s also a nice way to meet other golfers!
How much is the full day clinic: the cost for the Full Day Clinic is €195 per golfer. This can be paid at the time of booking, or a voucher can be purchased through our website and gifted to the golfer in your life. If you’re going down the voucher route, the player has 5 years to book in for a clinic.
